Thomas Riedrich was appointed Head of the FH JOANNEUM Central IT Services division in April 2019. In this position he is responsible for the digital transformation of the university and all central IT services for students and staff.
Thomas Riedrich completed the Master's degree programme in IT Management & Applied Security (2010) and the Diploma degree programme in Information Technologies and IT Marketing (2006) at FH Campus 02 on a part-time basis with a focus on information security.
After graduation he worked for the IT Services department of Graz University of Technology, where he was responsible for identity management, collaboration, information security and IT service management in various positions.
Since 2022, Thomas Riedrich has been a member of the board of the Association for the Promotion of an Austrian National Research and Education Network - ACONET.
