Andreas Glatzer studied Mechanical Engineering and Process Engineering at the Technical University Vienna, where he also made his PhD at the Institute of Thermal Engineering when he worked as research engineer there. After international activities in the energy plant business and in project development and plant operation of energy plants in 2011 he started his own engineering company (IE Intelligente Energie-Systeme GmbH) focusing on energy systems for manufacturing plants, renewable energy and energy efficiency.
At FH Joanneum he has the pleasure to hold the lecture "Energietechnik (Thermodynamik)" (i.e. energy technology / thermodynamics) for the part-time bachelor study programme "Industrial Management".
