FH JOANNEUM staff can take advantage of Erasmus-funded staff mobilities to exchange ideas with colleagues internationally and learn from the local organization.

Interdisciplinary creative networking and exchange of ideas: the second Research Speed Networking event brought together researchers from different departments for time-efficient networking and an update on current R&D developments at FH JOANNEUM.

From 9 to 14 October 2023, Erasmus Days were once again celebrated throughout Europe. The aim of these days is to promote interculturalism, to bring people together and to provide comprehensive information about study and work placements abroad. FH JOANNEUM participated in the event and celebrated the Erasmus Day on 11 October in Graz.

This year, our International Staff Week took place at FH JOANNEUM from 8 to 12 May 2023. 27 colleagues from 19 partner universities from 16 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas spent five exciting days at FH JOANNEUM to discuss the exciting topic of “Tackling the Grand Challenges from a multidisciplinary perspective”.

28 partner universities and colleges from 25 countries presented themselves at the International Fair 2023 at FH JOANNEUM.

The degree programme “Journalism and Public Relations (PR)” celebrated the first twenty years of its existence: A look at the highlights and into the future.

Sayyidshahab Nabavi and Florian Mayer are two doctoral students from FH JOANNEUM who have been selected for the new cooperative doctoral programme with TU Graz “Dependable ElectroNIc Based SystEms”, or DENISE for short. We asked the passionate electronics engineers for an interview.

In the subject Corporate Communication, „Journalism and Public Relations (PR)“ students learned about the peculiarities of PR in China in a guest lecture with Gerold Muhr, one of the founders of the Brand University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg and got to know his private FH in Germany.

The web is a place of endless possibilities – if you know how to find your way around. Exchanging ideas with people in different situations helps us navigate through the “depths” of the Internet. Jutta Pauschenwein runs the platform #dienetzwerkerinnen, which promotes exactly this form of coworking.
